What are PAs?
- Program Aide: PAs are Girl Scouts entering grades 6 -12 in the fall. Usually starts at the Cadette Girl Scout level
- PAs Assist unit leaders during camp from various tasks like facilitating flag ceremony, assisting campers with developing skits for the Friday presentation to family, teaching camp songs and traditions to campers in their unit daily.
- Program Aide's (PA) learn valuable skills about being a mentor and sharing their skills, passions and experience with younger Girl Scouts! Program Aides have the unique opportunity to serve as champions for the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
- PA's can also take Program Aide training at the Council by contacting Kimberly Seltzer at [email protected]
- PA's must attend ALL Camp Staff meetings, including set up on Sunday 2pm-5pm, Camp Breakdown on Friday (3:30-4:30pm)
- PA must work with Unit Leader they are assigned to prior to camp and daily during camp.
